One of our guiding principles at Deus Brands has always been mindful and sustainable innovation in skin and hair care. South Africa, known as the “Rainbow Nation,” is a beacon of diversity, with a rich tapestry of cultures, languages and ethnicities. In partnership with Disney, we are thrilled to unveil a groundbreaking lineup of products that celebrate and cater to this vibrant diversity. Over the next 12 months, we can’t wait to share this exciting collection with you.

Disney has ignited our imagination with it’s incredible storytelling. Through this collaboration, we aim to provide South Africans with a new way to connect with the beloved Disney characters. Our collection features four specialized products for African skin and hair: A Braiding Butter, a Mineral Oil-Free Sheen Spray, our Face and Body Butter Cream and an Easy-To-Use Dry Shampoo for braids called Zuri Braid Mist.

Cleaning is only half of the braid care journey; the other is scalp and hair hydration. Our Essential Sheen Spray is the ideal companion for this part of the journey. A mineral oil-free blend of Grapeseed, Coconut, and Castor Oils delivers hydration and nourishment to your hair and scalp without product buildup. Traditionally, mineral oil-free sheen sprays are imported Zuri Essential Sheen Spray is made locally.

A key part of our development process was to walk the braiding journey to discover how we could best innovate. To accompany the Braiding Butter, we have created an Instant Drying Braid Mist to make maintaining and cleaning braids easier. Our instant drying, waterless formula removes product buildup and dirt and any odours, leaving your braids shampoo-fresh.
